Job got you down?

Career choices are sometimes overwhelming in today’s world, where new jobs and professional options multiply daily. Research shows that the most satisfying careers are those which take into account your values, personality, learning style, and long term goals. If you don’t have this knowledge, choosing what you want to do may be a headache. You also risk choosing unwisely and expending a great deal of time and money gaining an education to do a job you dislike.

Consulting a career mentor can save a great deal of trouble, and provide the support you need to make the choices necessary for a smooth transition to college and an excellent start to your professional life.

If you’re already working and you hate your job, talking with a professional mentor can help shift your career in a new direction, making life more fulfilling. A career counselor can also help you take the education you have, and add to it in a way that allows your professional life to expand.

Staying in an unsatisfying or stress inducing position just causes other problems. It’s worth the effort to talk with a professional career counselor and make the changes which will bring personal and professional satisfaction.
